Children fly, invert, and soar — building body awareness, emotional confidence, and a deep sense of what they are capable of.
What Is This Workshop?
Zen in the Sky is a hands-on aerial arts workshop where children explore movement using aerial hammocks — hanging, inverting, swinging, and building skills they never knew they had.
It combines dynamic aerial movement with mindful body awareness — so children grow stronger, more coordinated, and more in tune with themselves, all while having an absolute blast.
Even children who are nervous at first almost always surprise themselves. That moment of “I did it!” is one of the best things we get to witness.
What Your Child Will Experience
Every activity is intentionally designed — not just to move children, but to develop them from the inside out.
Children learn to sense their body in space — how they are positioned, how to move with control, and how to build core strength and stability through genuine play. This is proprioception in action: the foundation of coordination, balance, and physical confidence.
In the air, your child must think and move at the same time — coordinating multiple body parts while staying present. This naturally sharpens focus, listening skills, and attention span in a way no classroom exercise can replicate.
Children learn to notice fear without shutting down, breathe through challenge, and pause instead of reacting. They don’t just do activities — they learn how to respond to life. This is nervous system training for the long haul.
Overcoming the initial nervousness of inverting builds something no worksheet can — the deep pride of “I tried and I did it.” In a mixed-age, non-competitive setting, children also develop empathy, communication, and genuine belonging.
Who Is This For?
Have lots of energy but struggle to focusInstead of asking children to sit still, we channel energy through movement and teach focus within activity.
Feel shy, anxious, or lack confidenceOur approach is non-competitive and child-paced — children are guided to take small courageous steps in a safe, nurturing environment.
Need better body coordinationBalancing while suspended challenges motor skills and body control — building spatial awareness from the ground up.
Struggle to regulate emotionsChildren learn to recognise and manage their feelings in real time — practised through movement, not talked about in theory.
📍 Ages 5–12. No prior aerial or yoga experience needed. Most children joining us are trying this for the very first time.

Why Aerial + Mindfulness?
This isn’t just physical activity — it’s a whole-child experience. Skills developed here carry into school, friendships, sports, and daily life.
The hammock allows children to stretch and move in ways impossible on the ground — building core strength and stability through genuine play.
Balancing while suspended challenges motor skills and body control — children gain deep awareness of how they move through space.
Overcoming the initial nervousness of inverting builds something no worksheet can — the deep pride of “I tried and I did it.”
Aerial mindfulness teaches children to notice body sensations, emotions, and their own limits — the foundation of healthy self-regulation.
Learning to pause, breathe, and manage feelings in the face of challenge — practised in real time, in a safe and supported environment.
Challenges become growth moments. A mixed-age, non-competitive community builds empathy, cooperation, and genuine belonging.
The Mindful Space Difference
Children co-create their experience. We empower children to lead, choose, and contribute — developing independence and socio-emotional skills alongside aerial skills.
Small teacher-student ratio of 1:6. Every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. No one gets lost in a crowd.
An inclusive, mixed-age community. Different ages and abilities learning together — with empathy, different perspectives, and genuine belonging.
Challenges become teaching moments. When things are hard, we lean in — gently, curiously, and with full support. That’s where the real growth happens.

Yes — this is one of the biggest reasons parents enrol. Our approach is non-competitive, provides a safe container to make mistakes, and is entirely child-paced. Children are gently guided to take courageous steps in a supportive and nurturing environment.
This workshop is especially helpful for high-energy children. Instead of asking children to “sit still,” we channel energy through movement, teach focus within activity, and integrate mindfulness into physical play.
Children learn to regulate themselves naturally with vestibular, tactile, and proprioceptive sensory input — rather than being told to calm down.
We keep group sizes to 10–12 students with a teacher-student ratio of 1:6, ensuring every child receives individual attention, feels supported, and is never lost in the crowd.
Our events do not allow cancellations or refunds unless Mindful Space is unable to proceed with the session.
